Tradepoint Europe (TPE) :-

Tradepoint Europe has been established in 2004 for business development. Its first
Regional office in Shar-e-now, Kabul, Afghanistan was established in June 2005 with
Mr. Azim Badakhshi as Managing Director and Dr. Shah Band as his assistant.

In September 2005 the Afghan International Chamber of Commerce asked the regional office
to open another office in the Netherlands, therefore, TPE came up with
Netherlands - Afghan Kamer van Koophandel (NAKK).

TPE launched two projects for Agricultural Development and transportation, both awarded in
2006:
1- Chicken Supply Chain (PESP)
2- Distribution centre in Kabul (PSOM)

Currently, the main responsibility of TPE is managing TPA's and other distribution centres'
management, by safeguarding the European Standards.

Tradepoint Afghanistan (TPA) is a locally registered private company based in Kabul,
Afghanistan. Its mission is to develop the private sector by creating employment,
bringing new technology and introducing European management and standards. Its goals
are to achieve sustainable growth, decrease the dependency on imported goods, raise the
standard of living and bring economic welfare.

In November 2006, TPA moved to its new premises in Kolola Poshta, Kabul. Presently, it
has about 20 employees and is looking to expand its capacity by employing more staff.
